Job Description

Responsibilities Brand Strategy and Campaign Idea Champion


? Champion consumer and brand understanding within the agency


? Help identify challenges and opportunities; helps clients map demand growth approaches, re-frame marketing objectives in a manner that opens pathways to fresh solutions


? Enable the agency to be in the lead in understanding/ keeping track of cultural trends


? Lead development of consumer, category, and competitive insights


? Partners with clients in helping develop/refine marketing and communication plans; serves as a consultant on a range of marketing issues (e.g. positioning, target marketing, portfolio strategy and optimization, innovation) as well as communication issues (creative strategy, message development)


? Champions True North and InciteWork process at the agency


? Collaborates with the creatives, seeks to inspire them to arrive at breakthrough ideas that address the brand’s opportunities/objectives


? Provide guidance on how to refine ideas based on consumer feedback and response requirements


? Agency lead on learning from research on how to refine future strategies


Capabilities


? Consumer research and insight savvy; good appreciation for or even expertise in research analysis


? Insight mining, development, and articulation


? Business, brand, and creative story-telling skills


? Presentation skills


? Lateral thinking skills


? Information maven – interest and knowledge about different topics that may have an impact
