Mission & Main Tasks:

We are seeking a Big Data expert for our TSC (technical service center) team, which is under Audi China Quality department, to support on our vision on digitalisation. One of the core tasks of TSC is field monitoring and accelerate FAP(failure elimination process) in Audi. Therefore, the Big Data Expert will be in charge of achieving this task with advance data analytics technique.

Job Duties:

• Systematically identify quality defects in the field with advance data analytics
• Develop new field monitoring tools for connected cars data
• Develop predictive failure models through data mining
• Conception of Data Mining analytics with mathematical algorithms
• Evaluation, improvement and maintenance of Data Mining analytics model and results
• Usage of various data sources to systematically identify quality defects and support root-cause analysis
• Prepare reports and documents based on big data analysis
• Follow-up on countermeasures of reported quality defects.
• Ensures the functionality and quality of the IT system for data analysis
• Provide IT related support for the department

Qualifications:

Education:

• At least bachelor degree in the field of informatics, statistics, mathematics, data scientist, data analyst or equivalent

Professional skills:

• At least 5 year working experience in the field of data analytics
• Basic knowledge of automotive engineering
• Knowledge about Audi brand vehicles

Personal skills:

• Professional experience with database handling (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, SQL etc.)
• Professional knowledge of computer languages (e.g. R, Scala, Python, SQL, Spark, etc.)
• Proficient skills in MS Office and in Quality Data Analysis Systems

Language skills :

• Expert language skills in Chinese, English
• German skills optional
