In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and for developing and securing new business for the Company. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of business developers, the marketing and account servicing teams. The position requires a solid understating of digital marketing and excellent communication skills. Understanding of the tourism industry is also a big plus.
Responsibilities
® Locate, develop, negotiate, and close sales opportunities
® Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationships into sales opportunities
® Develop new markets in regions and travel industry verticals
® Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
® Create tailor made professional and effective proposals and pitches
® Attend industry functions, such as events and conferences to source qualified leads improve the Company’s visibility in the industry
® Using your knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators in collaboration with the marketing team
® Pro-actively communicate with management and team members as well as across the Company’s functional teams to optimize client servicing and upsale opportunities
Skills & Requirements
® Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in business development/sales
® Experience in digital marketing and/or travel a big plus
® Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the creation and execution of professional proposals and presentations
® Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and build networks across the industry
® Ability to quickly develop new commercial relationships and earn trust
® Multicultural work experience preferred, especially in China
® Strong spoken and written English and Mandarin skills
® Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
