The Business Development Manager (Nanjing) reports directly into the Chief Executive Officer.
Business Growth
As a Business Development Manager in our China office, your role will include:
Product Development for the Chinese marketplace
Chinese in-country Customer maintenance
Product Development
Our 4+3 products and delivery capacity are ready, and ‘open for business’; however, need to be put into a format that Chinese customers are familiar with, and made ready for widespread development in China.
This means, that your role will include working together with LH Global’s overseas departmental managers to make their products ‘China-ready’, and re-packaged in a way that makes them palatable to Chinese customers.
Such product development includes, but is not limited to:
‘Themed’ outbound tours from China, including business delegations, investment groups, marathon & sporting groups, photographer groups and more
Migration & Education related products
Recruitment & HR outsourcing products, including reverse direction; providing services for businesses moving from overseas to China
Outbound investment products with our Project Acquisitions department
Membership services – such as 精英之家 – Home Away from Home, including working with our overseas teams to develop value propositions
Customer Maintenance
You will be entrusted with the contact details of some of our most valuable clients and asked to work closely with them to keenly understand and deliver on their needs. This will require the strongest of business development skills together with a heightened level of customer service. You will be trained in LH Global customer service but will be expected to bring a high level of Emotional Intelligence and effort to your role in the area of customer maintenance.
It is important to understand, that as your role will be predominantly focussed on the client generation stage, engagement / maintenance of the client will be vital to ensuring smooth sales processes. You will also be working to ensure communication between the client and our overseas service delivery team is smooth, and that there is no miscommunication. You will be the company’s China contact for many clients, ensuring customers are happy with the experience they are receiving.
Pipeline Growth
LH Global’s overseas offices are ready for business, however with most of our existing team being offshore, we are unable to aggressively develop our in-country sales pipelines.

Internal Resource RealisationLeader Group 领航集团 has a strong and well-respected brand in China, with offices in over 20 cities on the mainland. The Group has large internal workforce, with a much-larger labour-hire workforce for which we have a potential ‘internal market’. The Group also has well-established relationships with many distinguished and well-known companies in China, for which we are yet to realise value for our overseas teams.
Your role will be to develop these internal ‘markets’, so that we can begin providing 4+3 services to them.
External Resource DevelopmentOur 4+3 products provide a unique opportunity for the development of partnerships with other likeminded businesses (sub-agency agreements and partnerships), or for directly providing services to Chinese companies and individuals, with the objective of obtaining qualified leads and sales.
Information and StandardisationA key part of your role will be to ensure accurate record keeping and information management occurs. In addition to this, it is important that constant analysis and standardisation of processes and delivery occur.
You will work closely with the CEO to further develop and standardise our CRM system to assist in higher internal productivity, and greater value to our clients.
‘Other’ Development and InnovationIn addition to the items mentioned above, key areas of the Manager’s role will include:

Innovation (team development, modelling, technology, products, service delivery, projects, etc)
