Mission and Purpose:

• The internship will take place at the FAW-VW car plant in Changchun, China.
• The main task is to support our Chinese Joint Venture FAW-VW in the coordination of purchasing activities for new car lines. The focus lies on current and future car projects that are/will be produced in China, for example Q5L and A6L.
• The intern will work closely with Chinese and German colleagues from Audi China, Audi AG and FAW-VW to coordinate and solve purchasing related issues / tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities：

• Preparation and participation in meetings with different business units about critical components
• Design and preparation of briefings and presentations for Audi committees and board meetings
• Communication interface between the joint venture partner FAW-VW and the german colleagues in Ingolstadt
• Support responsible colleagues in information gathering and structuring for the localisation of heavy item parts in China
• Support project steering colleagues with specific project topics

Qualifications:

Education Background:

• Major in: mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and management or business administration (Bachelor / Master)

Professional Skills:

• Pratical experience in procurement or within automotive industry and its component suppliers are considered an advantage
• MS Office (esp. Power Point, Excel) skills are required

• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• High degree of independence and motivation

Language Skills:

• Fluent in German and Chinese,
• Fluent in English is an advantage
