This exciting role offers opportunity to: The scope of the responsibility includes NPD/VAVE Projects on MV Products and customer order handling activities for Medium voltage switchgear projects including drawings for customer approvals, fulfilment of Eaton process for order execution. Responsible for Design of switchgear including 12kV AIS Panel, VCB. Create and validate the designs by type testing in External Lab. Coordinate with other departments for prototyping and external validation. Create BOM in SAP and release for manufacturing. To be Quality conscious during the design inception stage to ensure reliability and first time right. To customize the product based on customer requirements and get the design approved by customer and coordinate for delivery. Work on VAVE/ Feature addition as well as Quality improvement projects on the products. Localization support and validation is also included. Qualifications Requirement: Masters/Bachelor/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering. (Electromechanical exposure) 8-10 Years(15 Years diploma) Working experience on Medium Voltage Products and Equipment’s especially withdrawable indoor VCB atleast 8 years.(12 Years Diploma). Preferred experience on Indoor AIS panel upto 2000A, Natural cooling with IAC certification. Working Experience on Panels for Utilities, with various cable provisions for an IAC compliant Product Working experience on modular product family ( either LV panel with horizontal busbar layout/MV Panel) Conversant with IEC 62271-200/100/102/103. Preparing prototypes and typetesting in independent laboratories.Capable of conducting structured development tests. Past typetesting experience is required Capable of interpreting customer specifications to customize the product. Understanding of SLD, schematics and tender documents Conversant with common materials/ manufacturing used in switchgear industry. Knowledge of modular product BOM creation/maintenance in SAP/ERP. Well conversed with 3D Modelling/ Autocad and PLM fundamentals. Capable to implement Tolerance analysis, GT&T(ASME Y14.5) Able to create product documentation( Design Guideline) for licensing/customer access. And provide tender related calculations if necessary Train the Partner Quality for QAP / Design guideline complying Capacity to work in dynamic environment, and to support high challenges Activities in exigency may require to step out of current function to support running other projects Demonstrate strong team working spirit and effective communication Initiative and strong sense of responsibility Sufficient capability in communication with English Yes!
