As an Associate R&D Project Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of one or more R&D projects to meet project targets, for Electrification Busines Area in Shenzhen, China.
Reporting to the R&D Project Manager, you will coordinate work of local and cross-functional project team.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the allocated project teams and defining with key stakeholders the scope of work, cost / budget, resources required, time schedule and detailed work allocation
- Motivating and leading internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
- Monitoring and controlling project cost and financials and reports deviations
- Ensuring project results are transferred to relevant line organization or department responsible. Using own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams
- Serving as key contact for project stakeholders and effectively communicating appropriate information to in timely manner to achieve desired understanding and support
- Ensuring project following sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures
- Ensuring projects follow external standards etc. that influence activities and targets
- Identifying, containing and reducing risk and making sure that they are properly prioritized, managed and communicated
Your background
- 3 years+ work experience of project management, 1 year+ work experience of software
- Project management experience proved by certificate of worldwide company or PMI is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering or communication engineering or project management engineering
- Proactive, team-oriented, highly responsible and able to work under pressure and excellent at communication and coordination
- Fluency in English and Chinese as mother tongue
