Job Description
- Working with plant leaders to identify staffing requirements, creating and implement the plan to attract, develop and retain key employees.
- Develop HR policy and procedures, to support business objectives and goals with right level consistency, but not over processed. Ensure all the HR policies, procedures and practices are in line with Chinese labor law / regulation, the company’s code of conduct, culture & value, and HR policies, guideline, and practices.
- Work with APAC HR Team to develop and manage plant compensation and benefit plans to ensure our competitiveness in local market, and also the consistency with global philosophy and guidelines.
- Identify training needs by working closely with plant management team, APAC HR Team to develop annual training plan in line with business development needs. Drive the implementation of approved training plan.
- Evaluation of key personnel and organizational effectiveness, advising plant management team about performance and structural gaps, and leading initiatives that bridge these gaps
- Promote the company’s performance culture and ensure performance management process and philosophy is well followed.
- Forging and maintaining partnerships with the company’s China & global HR functions, like talent acquisition, training and development, HR data team
- Build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Listen empathetically to others, taking action to ensure employee concerns are revealed and resolved. Build trust by treating people fairly and with respect
- Develop HR programs and practices that encourage, motivate and engage people towards achieving organizational objectives. Drive processes and programs to attract, select, develop and retain superior leaders and talented employees at all levels of the organization
- Build effective collaboration with local authorities; work with plant managers to develop and maintain good corporate citizen image and community relationships by being an active part of the industrial zone and encouraging staff to participate in community activities.
- HR & Administration officer focused on providing effective and high quality service, e.g, manage different vendors for plant facilities maintenance, canteen, shuttle bus, office and shop floor cleaning, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree or above
EXPERIENCE/Skills
- 7+ years’ experience in foreign manufacturing companies in HR function with 2+ years’ team management;
- Excellent people skills, Self-motivated, independent performer with good analytical and computer skills;
- Can work under high pressure, efficient when handling multiple tasks and be willing to assist the manager on leading projects;
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal English and ability to work in cross-functional teams is mandatory.
