KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES:

• Owns the local relationship between sites (Manufacturing Divisions) business leadership and IT.
• Leads productive and ongoing exchanges of information between the assigned location, IT service delivery and demand management.
• Implements the global IT strategy aligned with the site business requirements and needed agility.
• Consolidates and owns the local IT project portfolio (demand management), coordinating with corporate solution team as well as project management team to fulfill the site business requirements.
• Support sites boniness partners to plan the IT perspective budget.
• Leverage the HQ (WuXi site) good practices to other existing and new sites.
  

Managing personnel and respective local business partner IT-budget effectively and efficiently, ensuring operational continuity and IT objectives are met.

Requirements:

• Develops and maintains effective collaborative relationships with IT leaders in each IT group.
• Communicates to the business the global IT strategy for projects and operational plans that impact their Site.
• Transfer knowledge from HQ (Wu Xi) to other manufacturing sites.
• Provides input to functional IT budget and monitors local expenses.
• Develops, manages, and maintains organizational structure within the group. Contributes analytical input to help define organizational structure within cost center and/or department.

Communicates issues and successes up and down the group

EDUCATION :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years’ IT service and operational experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Relationship management and the ability to influence skills and engage colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
• Ability to set priorities, align stakeholder expectations, and develop and execute an associated plan of action.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to write and speak in the English language.
• Work with virtual teams located in different countries around the world, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles.
• Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
• Ability to speak the local language(s).
