Reporting to the Director / Senior Director, the successful candidate will assist in the regulation and supervision of the securities and derivatives markets and conducting research to facilitate regulatory policy formulation.

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role are to monitor economic and market developments as well as regulatory changes in major financial markets and to assess the potential impact on the Hong Kong market. The successful candidate will need to conduct relevant research as well as prepare, review and edit policy papers and other publications.

Requirements:

You must have a university degree with solid experience in regulatory research and strategic policy formulation, preferably gained from established financial institutions or multinational organisations. You should have a sound understanding of the operations and regulation of the securities and derivatives markets in Hong Kong, the Mainland and other major overseas markets. An excellent command of written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Chinese would be an added advantage.
