This position, closely working with Neuroscience consumer and healthcare physician (HCP)marketers will be responsible for leading, as a hands-on leader, the design, analysis, and interpretation of omnichannel insights from a variety of sources to inform consumer media investment allocation/performance/ROI, consumer & hcp digital ecosystem data strategy and analytics, High Value Action (HVA) development/measurement on hcp/consumer websites, and digital media campaign planning and evaluation. This role is part of a critical business transformation at the intersection of our “Winning with Data” and “Digital Transformation” initiatives. It requires a digital analytics leader with the demonstrated business acumen to leverage data, analytics and technology to identify key insights across consumer and professional media channels - to position AbbVie as best in class in omni channel customer experiences, and to provide an integrated view aligned with other analytic platforms and stakeholder expectations. They will lead the synthesis of complex/big data to develop and execute actionable strategic and tactical consumer and digital initiatives and to identify marketing opportunities for measurable impacts and profitable growth. The Associate Director should proactively identify sophisticated methods and approaches to using analytics in support of critical business decisions and actions. Over time, they will build a small team of analytical professionals and will be directly responsible for their recruiting, training, and mentoring. This role will report into AVP CNS Market Analytics & Insights. Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities: Advance the CNS consumer & digital analytics agenda, including National TV & digital media optimization, TV flighting patterns, TV Ad rotation/ Ad length optimization, A/B testing & personalization capabilities for digital campaigns, audience management, and media placement/execution. Design and develop a comprehensive monthly consumer Business Impact tracker that encompasses website data, media data, Crossix DIFA data, prescription data, internal marketing mix analysis & brand awareness/usage metrics to continuously measure & inform consumer impact. Partner effectively with media agencies, brand/center market analytics & business insights, Business Technology Solutions, third party analytic vendors and assist consumer marketers with media planning, cross channel investment allocation, digital publisher selection, local market & audience selection for various consumer campaigns. Build analytic models to link various channels to High Value Actions (HVAs) on website properties and subsequently connect HVAs with new patient starts & prescriptions. Proactively seek best in class benchmarking to advance the measurement of omni channel experiences – to exceed industry practices and AbbVie requirements. Continuously explore advanced analytic modeling solutions, including predictive machine learning on claims data, to inform trigger-based and next best action analytics as well as audience optimization and personalized experiences. Manage relationships and content from multiple external agencies including analytics, database, advertising, media, and digital agencies as well as internal partners. Integrate and advise on new and relevant data sources, data mining, business information and analytical approaches to enhance insights and accuracy of key functional area. Demonstrate excellent visualization & story telling skills and can influence decision making within CNS & MABI teams. Qualifications Qualifications Key Competencies: Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills. Experience working with and managing multiple internal partners and external agencies including advertising, media, digital, database agencies. Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence development and adoption of analytic capabilities. Strong planning and organization skills. Understanding of the basic principles of brand marketing, including brand positioning, personality & overall campaign development. Strong focus on teamwork, relationship-building and influencing others; acting courageously and constructively, with agility and a high degree of accountability Ability to distill complex information into concise and impactful messages/presentations. Influence the development of IT systems required to support analytic data consumption. Demonstrated Supervisory / Management Responsibilities. Exceptional qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. High motivation, strong work-ethic and positive attitude while working under tight timelines. Requirement to work “hands on” with analytical tools with minimal/as-needed requirement on external consultants. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following fields: Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Decision Sciences, Operations Research, and/or Applied Mathematics/Physics Masters/MBA or PhD is preferred Previous experience in Analytics in a media agency or digital consulting firm is preferred 8+ years demonstrated experience in analytics for multi-channel marketing (Digital, Social, CRM), Adobe Analytics experience 8+ years of experience identifying and outlining key campaign metrics and building campaign proformas/measurement plans/marketing analytics 8+ years of managing / working with multiple and diverse data sets for analytics 8+ years in advanced analytics / modeling techniques for marketing optimization and multi-touch attribution Experience with 3rd party pharmaceutical data like IMS/SHA Data, data from agencies various digital tactics and channels etc. Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and significant time pressures Up to 10% travel based on business need Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel Yes, 15 % of the Time Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code M Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
