Job Description
continuously improve Medical affairs core capabilities especially for new product launch
  • Partnering with the LCDDMAC leadership team to prioritize capability areas of focus fon Medical affairs esp. new product launch.
  • Develop and facilitate an capability development plan including sharing plateform and training plan.
  • Create strong Lilly networks to leverage/synergy the resouces for capabilities enhancement solutions , especially from global medical affairs team.


Launch readiness roadmap and process for medical;
  • Lead the development, implement and continuous improvement of launch roadmap;
  • Establish framework and key processes for prioritized medical launch deliverables; make sure the implement across all brands and TAs
  • Establish medical launch readiness review and governance process to make sure medical launch readiness plan across brands and TAs are of high quality and in consistence.
  • Being a key member to contribute to integrated launch roadmap for affiliate.

Medical affiars digital solution
  • leading the strategy and implementation of Medical affairs digital solutions.
  • continually and proactively seek innovative ways to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of delivering medical content through digital channels.
  • He/she will partner broadly with cross functional team to ensure that Medical initiatves are part of a comprehensive strategy for reaching Lilly customers.

Thought Leader Engagement

Leadership and supervision
  • By Localizing and cumstomerizing global TL engagement policy and process, ensure a consistent and efficient TL engagement planning and tracking framework and process being developed and implemented in China.
  • Support each brand and TA has appropriate Thought Leader Engagement Strategy, including the respective strategic plans, coordination, integration and implementation.
  • Be responsible for recruiting the talent needed, job performance oversight, developing relevant and high quality training, managing functional career paths

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems
  • Master above degree in health related field.
  • New product launch experiences are preferred.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Medical training background. Must be board eligible or certified in appropriate specialty/subspecialty or the comparable level of clinical training.
  • At least 8 years of experience in clinical practice, clinical research, pharmaceutical medicine, and the drug development process.
  • Broad functional expertise in pharmaceutical company in both medical and business perspectives.
  • Ability of driving decision marking process, build relationship, engage and influence key stakeholders, including external and internal ones.
  • Ability of identifying solving complex business/operational problems and technical challenges.
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of commercial environment
  • Strong compliance sense, diligent adherence to business integrity principles
  • Excellent communication , interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Cross-functional experience in operational or project management roles within the medical organization at Lilly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize systemic problems, diagnose root causes and work with functional leadership to influence corrective actions that will prevent recurrence across multiple teams or functions.
  • Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to independently manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as needed
