We are looking for an Assistant Vice President, Rooms (Laundry) to be based in our Global Headquarter in Hong Kong. He / she will be responsible for formulating the business strategies and plans for Shangri-La owned central laundry and bringing them to life. He / she will also be setting and upholding brand standards for the laundries at our hotels and resorts.
As an Assistant Vice President, Rooms (Laundry), we rely on you to
- Conduct business study and explore business opportunities for Shangri-La owned central laundry
- Design the structure, manning and HEOS for new hotels projects laundry operations
- Review, research and recommend laundry equipment and system that would provide the best effectiveness and efficiency for laundry operations, with CSR in mind
- Conduct hotels’ visitations in ensuring the proper implementation of brand and quality standards and the compliance to the policies
- Observe and analyze the data and identify revenue and expenses improvement opportunities
We are looking for someone who:
- Is specialized in commercial laundry plant operations with sound knowledge in laundry machinery, textile and laundry chemicals
- Can analyze, monitor and plan for workflow, labor requirements and productivity goals
- Possesses excellent communication skills and can manage multiple stakeholders
- Has the experience of opening and / or renovating commercial laundry plants, and insourcing laundry operations
- Understands hotel operations, systems processes and controls
