Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Secretary to the Listing Committee (the Head of Listing) on regular hearings of the Listing Committee and meetings of the Listing Nominating Committee
Prepare minutes of regular Listing Committee meetings and record the outcome of Listing Nominating Committee meetings
Manage member attendance: ensure a quorum; exclude conflicted members and ensure there are sufficient members for any review of a Committee decision
- Prepare the annual Listing Committee Report
Lead listing policy projects assigned and contribute to other policy work generally, having due regard to the policy initiatives of the Exchange and interest of the public
Conduct research, draft internal and external papers and give presentations to internal and external parties on listing policy initiatives
Work closely with the SFC and other regulatory bodies in relation to policy issues
Comply with training standards and practices defined by HKEX and/or the Listing Division
Job Requirements:
University degree in law, accounting or related professional discipline or equivalent
Knowledge of the Main Board and GEM Listing Rules, including the underlying principles, relevant precedents and published interpretations
At least 7 years of experience since achieving professional qualification in well-established companies, financial organisations or private practice
Experience of working independently or with little direct supervision in a work environment that requires the exercise of judgment
- Strong organisational skills
- Very good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills and knowledge of computer applications (e.g. Windows, Mac OS, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
