We are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President to join our Investment Management team based in Hong Kong.

What will you be doing:

• Perform detailed analysis of the performance of hotel's operating department (i.e. Rooms, F&B, ODD), support functions (Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Quality) and hotel management, as well as that of Investment properties.
• Develop Data analytics platform, partnering Prop Tech and TDC, to track and analyse both internal and external data points: Identify areas for improving revenue generating potential and revenue market share for owned hotels, establish action plans for hotel teams and jointly work on implementation.
• Benchmarking –internal comparison, market benchmark, against historical performance
• Market Research:
  • Top Down Market research: Conduct market research, information collection, collation and analysis of property market performance and prepare the market report.
  • Bottom up Market Research: Guide regional teams to develop a bottoms up market research
• Identify opportunities and challenges/issues through data analytics (both for existing assets as well as new projects), and thereafter formulate strategies for our businesses.
• Provide analytics support to Senior Management (SMM) by
  • developing leading indicators for our business
  • Develop financial simulations to analyze performance of assets as well as preparing reports to senior management.
• Business Plan
  • Develop Group (5 years) strategic direction and 1-3 years Business Plans, working with Hotel and Inv Property management teams to develop a detailed business plan for our businesses.
  • Develop detailed revenue model for our businesses
• Evaluate and benchmark the performance of our properties and our businesses with the aim to enhance their performances, including working with Hotel/Inv Properties Managers to drive asset enhancement initiatives.
• Review investment opportunities, including new businesses.
• Conduct financial analyses and feasibility studies with cash-flow and yield analysis.
  

What you will need to be considered:

• More than 10 years of relevant experience in investment analysis
• Possess enterprising thinking mindset and can handle multiple priorities
• Is good at numbers and has strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
• Strong influencer and executor with proven track record
• Experience in leading large-scale project initiatives to successful completion and implementation
