Assistant Vice President, Food & Beverage (Asian Cuisine & Beverage)
Reporting to the Vice President, Food & Beverage (Asian Cuisine & Beverage), the Assistant Vice President, Food & Beverage (Asian Cuisine & Beverage) will drive business results, people development, map strategies and develop concepts for Asian cuisine development, and optimize operational efficiencies of all Asian cuisine restaurants in the Group.
As an Assistant Vice President, Food & Beverage (Asian Cuisine & Beverage), we rely on you to:
- Reviews and assist the Hotel with the annual financial plan (marketing, profitability, CAPEX) for Hotels’ Asian cuisine restaurants.
- Assesses each region’s market situations and is knowledgeable of new trends and standards in each market segment, market potential, competitors, and consequently, working with each Region and Hotel in providing guidance on maximizing business opportunities and managing expenses.
- Guides and coaches the Hotels towards maximizing revenues and profitability for restaurants.
- Encourages the development of the management and business skills of restaurant key management personnel and provides counseling and guidance as may be required.
- Ensures that each hotel has in place an effective succession plan, ready file and annual training plan, to allow development of all personnel in restaurants.
- Iden tifies and recommends potential external candidates to join the group.
- Carries out other functions as assigned, such as assessing potential new sites, assisting with special projects/renovations etc.
- Conducts hotel visitations and audits where required.
- Drives F&B initiatives & projects, and oversees stand-alone restaurant operations.
We are looking for someone who:
- Possess minimum 10 years of working experience in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, China or South East Asia
- Possess good knowledge of Chinese restaurant operations and Chinese cuisine
- Takes initiative, self-motivated and driven
- Able to communicate well and works collaboratively with others
