Job Title: Assistant Project Manager- store design
Report To: Retail Marketing Manager

Key Purpose of the Job:
Store Development
Ensure all Timberland distribution channels & own store are built aligning Timberland global image
Localize CN standard according global guideline
Conduct Store Design training sessions to internal & external partners/ agency
Budget control and management
Key Area of Responsibility:
Store design/ Internal Communication
1. Strong professional knowledge and leadership to support store opened.
2. Ensure store design to meet business’ demand, and effectively allocate agency resource to systematically conduct projects which meet quality and deadline requirements.
3. Communicate closely with Product & Sales Teams to ensure SD, and support retail, trade and marketing event projects match with business goals.
4. Also to maintain close communications with dealers to ensure their requests and queries are answered timely.
Store Development
1. Provide design and construction plans, liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure all Timberland stores are built to meeting required standards.
2. Develop SD training materials, and conduct training sessions to internal & external partners timely
3. Project management
Budget & Quality Management
1. Budget & cost management: Provide cost comparisons on all relevant projects, ensure prices quoted are the best and efficient cost to Timberland China
2. Quality control: Govern vendors’ productions to deliver quality outputs.

Qualification & Experience Needed:
Minimum Relevant Experience: 7 years
Minimum Supervisory Experience: 4 years
Minimum Academic Requirement: Degree holder of Design, Fashion, Architecture or Interior Design, or relevant working experiences
Major Subject: Design, Fashion, Architecture or Interior Design
External Communication Required: Yes
Frequency: 70%
Required Professional Qualification: relevant academic & work experiences
Party of Internal Communication & Degree of Difficulty: CN teams, VFA colleagues in HK, &mktg in US
Difficulty arises from workmanship quality in China vs global consistency; difficulty arises from differences in stores to ensure sales floor staff can perform timely SD maintenance, as these people are day to day at retail!

Required Special Skills:
All store & event design software programs, such as CAD, and efficient in Microsoft office applications; design related soft wares, and efficient in MS office applications, especially PPT use
