Assistant Product Technologist (menswear)

My client is a renowned UK company which sets foot in various industries, including department stores (high fashion market) and supermarkets, as well as their banking and financial services and other retail- related activities.

Responsibilities:-

• Check and amend paper patterns
• Measure samples
• Create measurement charts
• Check fitting on dummies
• Comment on pre-production samples
• Check workmanship and give recommendations on how to improve
• Translate design brief into technical product specification including grading to different measurements

Requirements:-

• Degree or above in textile or related disciplines
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in technical position(s)
• Fluent English is a must
• Highly prefer experience in large-sized global retailer
• Solid technical understanding on garment construction
