JOB OVERVIEW
The Assistant Procurement Manager will administer the procurement process for all PDS China procurement activities on Project Management projects. These activities will be focused on general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and consultant services.
To be successful in this role, the APM be process-driven and will have a keen sense of detail and a strong desire to learn. He or she would have a ‘can do’ attitude and be interested in data input, analytics, and procurement platform software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the project managers with all procurement activities for Project Management Service projects
- Manage and maintain supplier registration in the PDS Procurement platform (Bravo)
- Run RFP and RFQ events through Bravo for all PDS projects
- Send procurement event status report to the respective project managers
- Act as the PDS Bravo Champion, learning the system and becoming the local system expert
- Coordinate with the Regional Bravo support team for system updates, technical queries, and help to drive usage within the PDS China office
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc Bravo training as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of working experience, 2 years of procurement-related experience
- Strong Excel data analysis skills, understanding of data analytic functions and pivot table is a must
- Understanding the competitive procurement process for goods, materials, and services
- Be able to manage multiple procurement events for multiple project managers simultaneously
- Experience with procurement and financial software tools and applications ideal
- Strong quantities and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and a desire for accuracy
- English language skill is a must
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- An appreciate for data gathering and data quality
