Job Description

Job duties:

  • Responsible for new business development and monitor the retention of renewal business
  • Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and explore new business opportunities
  • Responsible for retention of renewal business and offering daily service to intermediaries
  • Ensure compliance expectations are fully met
  • Provide quotations and responses to insurance intermediaries within the service standard
  • Implement prudent underwriting practice under authority limit, in line with company's underwriting philosophies
  • Underwriting support and provision of local market and risk knowledge to the cluster underwriting team
  • Perform underwriting assessment on new and renewal business
  • Align the underwriting profit in accordance with the business plan
  • Ad hoc project as required

Job requirements:

  • Associate Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies
  • Possessing or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in general insurance industry
  • Proactive & able to work independently
  • Excellent customer services, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
