Job Description
Job duties:
- Responsible for new business development and monitor the retention of renewal business
- Develop close relationship with insurance intermediaries and explore new business opportunities
- Responsible for retention of renewal business and offering daily service to intermediaries
- Ensure compliance expectations are fully met
- Provide quotations and responses to insurance intermediaries within the service standard
- Implement prudent underwriting practice under authority limit, in line with company's underwriting philosophies
- Underwriting support and provision of local market and risk knowledge to the cluster underwriting team
- Perform underwriting assessment on new and renewal business
- Align the underwriting profit in accordance with the business plan
- Ad hoc project as required
Job requirements:
- Associate Degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies
- Possessing or in progress of professional insurance qualification such as ACII or ANZIIF is preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in general insurance industry
- Proactive & able to work independently
- Excellent customer services, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
