European retailer is looking for a Merchandiser focused on ladies wear. The candidate will be located in Shanghai in the sourcing office and will report directly to SH office director

Her main responsibility will be to follow, support and coordinate the workflow and priorities settled by the Senior Merchandiser.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist Merchandiser in sourcing of product and suppliers
• Assist Merchandiser in Negotiation of price, terms and conditions if necessary
• Fluent and daily communication with suppliers (sometimes also buyers).
• Assist Merchandiser in watching closely the order process from sourcing to shipment
• Available to travel in mainland china and abroad if necessary
• Develop technical sheet

Skills & Experience

Required Experience/skills:

• Be able to work with Adobe illustrator in order to develop technical design sheet
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Mastering Reporting tools (Excel, Word, PP, etc..)
• With the passion and good feeling for fashion in textiles
• Be able to work under pressure and over time.

Appreciated Experienced/Skills: (not compulsory)

• Preferable knowing European market or previous European company.
• Major in English/Spanish/Business or Textiles is preferred.
