1. To develop a full understanding of the potential sales opportunities by industry sector. Gained from the studying of available internal and external research, market intelligence, media coverage, competitor shows, agent knowledge and any other available resource.
2. Collaborate with Show Teams to understand their needs and to identify the best agents available to support these needs. Where suitable agents are not available to source new agents.
3. To work with Show Teams and agents to develop quality sales and marketing plans to an agreed format for each event and suitable to deliver targeted sales
4. To facilitate the negotiation of sales agreements (SPA) between the agent and show team ensuring realistic but challenging targets with motivating commissions, incentives and marketing support.
5. To monitor the performance of all agents ensuring that activity reports and forecasts are timely, accurate and on target. Where forecasts are below target to work with agents to take remedial action and keep show teams up to date.
6. Ensure effective communication processes between show teams and agents. Where communication is not optimal implement remedial actions.
7. Produce market development plans to grow overall agent revenue in assigned territories. Appoint & develop agents to optimize sales coverage in territories & by industry sector
8. Build strong relationships with key Government departments & trade associations to gain support for RX activity and to secure market intelligence
9. Share market knowledge and agent management expertise with show teams to help formulate show teams sales strategies and activities.
10. Review agent performance and coverage in territories other than own in collaboration with territory manager and seek to optimize agent coverage and sales.
11. Support the implementation of best practice in Show Teams appointment, development & management of agents.
任职资格:
1. Strong sales and account management experience preferably in exhibition or similar service industry
2. Experience dealing with agents or clients in multiple industry sectors
3. Proven experience in developing new sales territories and delivering significant revenue growth
4. A collaborative worker but with a forceful sales personality
5. Ability to work independently and manage own sales
6. Happy to travel to and operate in diverse and sometimes challenging international markets
7. Empathy and understanding of other cultures
8. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese. Knowledge of Japanese or French will be a plus.
