The Corporate Venture Fund is a sovereign venture capital fund under Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation which is a statutory body under Hong Kong government with the mission of building a world-class innovation and technology hub 

Responsibilities:- 

As an Assistant Manager / Manager of the Corporate Venture Fund, you will work with the Investment Team from deal sourcing, due diligence, deal execution, to post-deal portfolio management. You will be able to tap into an ecosystem of great minds and disruptive ideas, and help Science Park to identify the best investments. In particular, you will be responsible for: 

• Conducting sophisticated financial modeling, valuation and return analysis
• Handling industry research, due diligence and other associated tasks independently
• Preparing investment memoranda, presentations and paper circulars independently
• Supporting the management of the invested portfolio
• Partnering with internal parties such as Incubation, Business Development, and external parties such as Universities, Government, and large corporates for a common goal
• Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors and management

Requirements:- 

• Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline; MBA holder/CFA Charterholder/CPA is an added advantage
• Minimum 3 (for Assistant Manager) and 6 (for Manager) years of experience in Direct Investment/Startup or related field
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines under tight schedule
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including in Putonghua)
• Passionate in the startup ecosystem and in building Hong Kong as a world-class innovation and technology hub
• Candidate with more experience may be considered for the Manager positon and is expected to becoming a deal leader
