Job Summary – An experienced Mold manufacturing professional well versed in managing operations of shop comprising conventional machines like Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Grinding, Tapping, Band-Saw, Gun Drilling etc. Having good knowledge of hand tools, cutting tools, work holding systems, grinding wheels etc. Conversant with Engineering Drawings, GD&T etc. Knowledgeable in the use of measuring instruments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers and machinists to achieve production targets
• Machine loading as per schedule
• Timely completion of Pre-tooling activity
• Maintain Zero-Incidence status in Shop by implementing high level of safety standards
• Manage consumables such as Cutters, Drills, Taps, Grinding Wheels, Hand Tools etc.
• Ensure adherence to actual time within estimated time
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance of machines in the department
• Implement WCM practices
• Implement continuous improvement culture in team

Position Requirements:

• A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Tool Engineering with 8-12 years of experience in managing operations in a Tool Room.
• Should be a good trainer
• Hands-on expertise in all conventional machining operations
• Should possess Excellent People Management and Communication Skills
• Knowledgeable in various machining and Heat-Treatment processes
• Able to interpret Mold drawings and decide best process to achieve acceptable part
• Conversant with MS-Office tools
• Ability to make presentations and reports to management as required
• Able to travel overseas
