The Corporate Venture Fund is a sovereign venture capital fund under Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation which is a statutory body under Hong Kong government with the mission of building a world-class innovation and technology hub 

Responsibilities:- 

As an Assistant Manager, Fund Management of the Corporate Venture Fund, you will work with the Risk Management Team and the Investment Team to ensure the fund operation is carried out effectively and timely. You will help the senior management to manage and grow the fund commercially and compliantly. In particular, you will be responsible for:

Regular and regulatory reporting 

• Preparing and supporting regular reporting for group consolidation / management reporting / marketing / statutory purposes 
• Investment compliance monitoring and following up exception / irregularities with relevant external or internal parties
• Analytical review on the fee and expenses, cashflow, fund performance and other fund related reporting

Day-to-day fund operation 

• Working cross-functionally with other HKSTP teams to ensure to smooth operation of the fund
• Building venture capital operating practices and analyses
• Assisting in the implementation of new funds, process improvements and ad hoc projects

Post-investment management 

• If necessary, work with portfolio companies on problem solving, opportunities discovery and monitor financial performance of portfolio companies.
• Supporting the development of relationships with the tech community, venture capital firms and investment banks

Requirements:- 

• Bachelor degree in business, accounting, finance, social science, or other related disciplines; fresh graduate is also welcome
• 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting / fund operation / direct investment / startup or related field would be an advantage 
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and ability to work successfully cross-functionally
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines under tight schedule
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including in Putonghua)
• Passionate in the startup ecosystem and in building Hong Kong as a world-class innovation and technology hub
• Candidate with less experience may be considered for the Associate position
