The School of Business and Management is searching for a high-caliber person to fill the position of Assistant Manager (Fintech Research Project).
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Fintech Research Project, the appointee will provide research, writing, and administrative support to the Fintech Research Project. Duties include:
- Writing, editing and proofreading all publications (such as industry reports and academic papers) and online and offline marketing materials (such as poster, websites, brochures, press releases, professional announcements and newsletter)
- Serving as the fact-checker of all publications, printed and online content published on website and new media platforms (e.g. social media platforms) to ensure fact accuracy through fact-checking and research procedures
- Doing research and conducting interviews on financial services related topics to develop content for all publications
- Establishing and maintaining a strong and continuous relationship with the project manager and designer to ensure the accuracy of all printed and digital communications
- Providing support in liaising with Case Center and preparing drafts to develop case studies
- Providing marketing and promotional support for all initiatives, including email promotion and marketing, under the Fintech Research Project through social media platforms
- Providing research support and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree preferably in Communication, Journalism or a related discipline with more than four years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing skills in English and Chinese; excellent communication and presentation skills, and good research skills. He/She should have the strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to think both creatively and analytically is also required. The appointee should have passion in financial content; a problem-solving mindset; ability to work independently, and be a good team player with analytical and systematic approach at work. Good computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. Prior work experience in media agency is an advantage. Knowledge in fintech is preferred. Working outside normal office hours will be required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
