Job Description

Overall purpose of job

Responsible for developing internal and external communication programs in Europe and Asia, with strong focus on internal communication. He/she will be supporting and implementing effective communication initiatives and projects ensuring alignment with the Bunge culture, messages, brand and business objectives across Europe & Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building a Europe & Asia Communications plan and strategy to successfully communicate organizational initiatives and projects to employees and other key stakeholders in order to inspire them and connect them to the company’s goals, culture and values.

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of communication activities and processes at a regional level.

  • Cultivate and manages relationships with the communication network and internal partners to ensure alignment with the global and regional communication strategies and maximize engagement opportunities.

  • Develop quality written/visual content for key internal channels, portal and websites. Create and maintain communication materials to assist community and industry affairs efforts in the region.

  • Establish and maintain a regional media landscape, including building contacts to key media and journalists and monitors regional media activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years work experience in communications or related field

  • Experience in developing and executing integrated communications strategies and plans.

  • Excellent written communications skills with proven reporting/storytelling ability to source stories from employees.

  • Creative and digital skills to implement quality and effective communication strategies and products.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact at different levels of the organization.

  • Familiarity with web and intranet content management systems and collaboration tools.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams.

  • Experience in agriculture or food-related industry preferred.

  • Bilingual in Chinese and English. Any other language is a plus.

  • Preferably with experience working with a multilocation team

  • Approximately 5-10% travel required
