Join our impressive team in this dynamic leadership role in management of the day to day hotel operations. This interesting position is ideal for those strong in operations, administration and customer service with a passion for hospitality. Key to this role is ensuring that the highest service standards are maintained in our five star international hotel, that profitability is maximised, and customer’s leave wanting to return. 


Responsibilities:

  • Management of hotel operations by leading the daily rhythm of a five star hotel
  • Administration of the hotel’s systems, with accurate and timely reporting
  • Management and coordination of all ancillary guest services
  • Cross departmental assistance from time to time including Food & Beverage functions
  • Ensuring optimal care for our hotel asset
  • Assist in the operation of an effective night audit function. 
  • Training, Coaching and supporting team members
  • Ensure a commitment to safety and the strictest cleanliness standards for both guests and team
  • Reservations assistance


Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury or premium hotel of more than 80 rooms preferred;
  • Proficiency in Opera is essential
  • Current LCQ and General Managers Certificate preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate preferred
  • Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
  • Articulate communication skills and an understanding of luxury guest expectations. Capability with more than one language is desirable.
  • Full Driver’s Licence
  • Valid visa to work in New Zealand
