Job Posting Details

The Finance Office is looking for an accounting professional to perform management accounting, financial planning and work in various financial projects. The appointee is expected to work effectively with colleagues of the Finance Office as well as other departments across the University. The responsibilities include: 

1. Preparing management reports and performing financial analysis for management review and discussion;
2. Supporting System Unit on the implementation and enhancement of the existing financial systems;
3. Proposing and implementing change initiatives to streamline operations in order to enhance operational efficiency; and
4. Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related disciplines, with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent, plus 5 years of relevant post-qualification work experience. Proven track records in reporting, financial planning and projects management is a plus. The appointee must be analytical; organized with good project management skills; proactive; self-motivated with multi-tasking and good inter-personal skills; and able to communicate fluently in Chinese and English with good computer skills. Experience in ERP system development is an advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
