Responsibilities:

• Ensure technical competencies aligns with corporate goals

• Align technical development with company’s strategies

• Plan and manage engineering development efficiently and profitably

• Build quality assurance system

• Plan and manage KPIs for technical performance improvement

• Design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks

• Create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, or finished products.

• Manage processes to meet critical-to-quality (CTQ) business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance.
• Oversee project and change management from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules to identify critical path and resource constraints to optimize and accelerate development milestones.

• Communicate technology and development to Board of Directors

• Design advanced electronic control systems for mechanical systems.

• Create embedded software design programs.

• Analyse existing development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements.

• Implement or test design solutions.

• Identify and select materials appropriate for mechatronic system designs.

• Create mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechatronic design concepts.

• Upgrade the design of existing devices by adding mechatronic elements.

• Budget planning and reporting for project engineering, development and testing costs.

• Support all continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.

• Work with the Sales department in acquisition support for development efforts and technical descriptions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in similar leadership role

• Understanding and executions of budgets and business planning

• Excellent communication skills

• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Bachelors / master’s degree in Mechatronics / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Automation technology
• Analytical technical expertise and reporting capabilities.
