Job Description
The buying assistant supports the buyer in developing business strategies and buying actions to achieve company goals. The buying assistant is responsible for daily operation and administrative functions in the buying departments. Good communication skills and attention to detail is required for this position.
Daily Responsibilities
- Manage daily, weekly, monthly reports
Stock Management
- Execute collection launch
- Conduct product replenishment and movement (Store-To-Store transfer)
Buying Support
- Prepare reports and buy plan
- Support buying operation and order system entry
Product Training
- Translate and prepare training materials, competitors analysis, markets trends
- Facilitate product training delivery and workshop etc.
Ad-hoc
- Support any ad-hoc assignment to support business needs
Team work
- Work closely with other team members and departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or fashion related fields
- 1 to 3 years working experience in buying, retail or fashion is plus
Skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required
- Detail-oriented
