Job Description
Job Objectives
1. Leverage global strategies to define and create brand strategies in China
2. Lead the implementation of marketing plans to maximize sales, profits and other business objectives for China
Scope of Responsibilities
1. Marketing plan development & execution
- Select and develop market appropriate products and define pricing
- Lead the development of key marketing initiatives to drive demand and manage execution of all marketing activities, including but not limited to advertising, digital marketing, and consumer promotions
- Support Marketing Manager to deliver consistent communication tools aligning with global guideline including leaflet, POP, key visual, website, weibo, etc
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs
- Build relationships and alliances with key marketing partners
- Work with Trade Marketing to develop excellence in in-store execution
2. Deliver on the key financial objectives for the brands
- Work with Finance and marketing manager to manage the brand P&L, ensuring appropriate financial targets are met which include sales, margin, OP and inventory
3. Supervise and develop brand executives and/or interns as appropriate
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to plan and execute
- Effective communicator (verbal and written in both English and Chinese)
- Ability to develop strong working relationships
- Innovative, adaptable and skilled in problem solving.
- Passionate, team player and outcome focused
- University degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in brand management, especially with kids products or fast moving consumer products
