The Assistant Branch Manager SAFE Act is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to grow sales and client base in coordination with the consumer sales team. The overall objective of this role is to grow sales, build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Branch Manager to formulate sales strategy, conduct capacity planning and review sales management process
• Assist Branch Manager in developing, driving and implementing customer centric initiatives; handle customer issues and provide recommendations for improvement
• Build effective working relationships within the community to advance the strategic vision of Citi and create opportunities for growth
• Provide continuous direction, support, feedback and coaching to staff as well as provide guidance in hiring, developing, coaching and mentoring team
• Actively coach the wealth sales team to meet and exceed their sales targets
• Partner with Human Resources and Branch Managers to effectively execute people management responsibilities including hiring, performance management, compensation, disciplinary actions and terminations
• Conduct daily and weekly planning of sales activities, and partner with peer group to ensure revenue and compliance targets are met
• Establish and maintain good relationships with customers, to ensure overall customer satisfaction; review customer accounts and transactions
• Monitor market, support new product launch and development / implementation of marketing programs
• Ensure operational and compliance activities are completed on time and according to agreed quality standards and assist in managing branch credit and delinquency control
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Previous banking and management experience required
• Investment sales experience preferred
• Previous experience in a global investment bank preferred
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities,

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
