Job Description

The role of the Growth Markets Operations team is to develop and deliver a strategy to help the business achieve its objectives for the middle market with a focus on strengthening our reputation, building relationships with CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs, and enable our people to pursue new revenue opportunities.

The opportunity

The role will be to support the Asia-Pac Growth Market Leader and Director of Operations and Enablement in the implementation of the Middle Market (MM) strategy in Asia-Pac’s regions and Market Segments.

 

Your key responsibilities

Support the Asia-Pac Growth Markets Director of Operations and Enablement on all logistics related to programs, significant meetings and ad-hoc matters. Take the lead on executing some programs and agenda development for certain meetings.

Key projects will include the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women (WW) Asia-Pacific program and the Asia-Pacific Growth Markets Champions Learning and Activation event. Responsibilities for these programs include Cvent site content creation; Website maintenance; Development of onboarding / welcome decks; coordination of meetings and calls; lead content gathering; Conference venue selection; Developing communications - internal and external; Steering Committee monthly call preparation and logistics related to the events.

 

Further duties and responsibilities include:
  • Provide necessary support to the Market Segments in using the MM go-to-market platforms

  • Leads workstreams of projects/program management on specific projects as needed

  • Leads the gathering effort of obtaining best practices and sharing them via regular communications across the Area

  • Builds cross-geography relationships to leverage existing MM Global/Area best practices and initiatives

  • Provides support in working with the EY Knowledge team to provide Area, Regional and Market Segment Leaders and Boards with insightful market analysis to inform the development of high-impact plans for winning in the Middle Market and capturing the best high-growth companies

  • Work closely with BMC to provide the Area, Regions and Market Segments assistance in developing and executing programs and campaigns that support achieving market-leading brand and positions in Accelerating Growth, Entrepreneurship, and strategic priorities relevant to the market (Family Enterprise, IPOs and Strategic Transactions, Start-ups)

  • Lead certain workstreams connected to BMC programs
  • Provides support in working with L&D to provide the Areas, Regions and Market Segments support in deploying L&D programs designed to build the go-to-market capabilities of their people serving the middle market

  • Supports the Asia-Pac Growth Market Leader and Director of Operations and Enablement on all logistics related to significant meetings, programs and ad-hoc matters. Opportunity to take the lead on development of some programs and agendas etc.

  • Creates and maintains project/program documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, status updates, etc.), may create project plans and timelines to manage project/program components and deliverables

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with, and be capable of influencing, certain key stakeholders such as the Growth Market Service Line Leaders, GDS Service Line Operations Leaders, Global IT, BMC and Knowledge.  Must therefore have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and be capable of gaining strategic buy-in on matters that will have a lasting impact on the Firm

  • Ability to collaborate with EY Community management
     

To qualify for the role you must have

Education
  • Studied relevant course post secondary education /  Bachelors/University degree
 
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in a professional services environment.

  • Direct client delivery experience a plus.
 

Certification Requirements

  • Project Management qualification desirable
 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Good understanding of the firm’s Service Lines, Go-to-market strategy and our external market
