Do you like toys, outdoor adventures and design? If so we have the job for you! We are a Shanghai-based international manufacturer – if it's fun and inflatable we make it. Designing and marketing products around the world, for some of the world's most recognizable brands, such as Disney, Marvel, Jeep and Warner Bros, you will be responsible for developing innovative and market leading graphics and illustrations for children's' products, adult beach and pool product, camping and outdoor adventure product as well as developing brand standard documentation, packaging, icons, manuals, catalogues and merchandising.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of The Design Department, you will:
· Art direct and design with a team of graphic designers, industrial designers and copywriters;
· Work on multiple design briefs to create inventive, demographically targeted graphics, illustrations and package designs from initial through to final design concepts;
· Consider project objectives and technical production requirements in order to meet timelines;
· Work with, and direct designers/engineers to ensure your creative visions are realized;
· Collaborate with Shanghai, European and US based marketing and sales teams;

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
· Problem solve like Einstein;
· Communicate like a diplomat;
· Sketch like a ninja;
· 5-8 years of experience in art direction in packaging, print catalogue and website.
· In-House design work experience is a plus;
· Bachelors Degree in Design;
· Experience with consumer packaged goods;
· Experience in the toy and/or sporting goods industry is a major bonus;
· Strong research capabilities with the ability to unify a variety interrelated ideas;
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must;
· Management and leadership skill guiding designers and interns to project completion;
· Good knowledge of content development process;
· Past living experience in Shanghai is a major-major bonus as we seek someone with long-term personal development plans in China;
· Speaking and reading Mandarin is a plus, but not required;
