We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for our Coastal Regions. Mission/Function of the Role: Ensures implementation of the regional strategy, guidelines and targets in the signed business specified portfolio, in order to increase sales and service with all kinds of potential customers, and to achieve defined financial goals and sales targets for the Coastal Regions of South Africa inclusive of Western Cape, Kwazulu Natal and Gqeberha Responsibilities of the role? Ensures the implementation of the business and sales strategy, guidelines and targets in coastal regions of South Africa, for the portfolios of Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries of Siemens, in order to increase sales with all kinds of potential customers, and to achieve defined financial goals and sales targets. Ensures the implementation of business and sales guidelines and sets sales targets for the assigned costal region with support from the portfolio responsible business units. Develops and proposes sales budgets and growth forecasts aligned with the sales strategy of the responsible business unit(s). Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned coastal branch offices in Cape Town, Kwazulu Natal and Gqeberha. This includes responsibility for liaison with Siemens Real Estate and EHS corporate unit to ensure that all occupation health and safety matters are correctly resolved. Defines and proposes resources required to ensure smooth operations of the branch offices. Cooperates with Siemens business units in marketing, portfolio management and project management in matters of strategic and tactical project and service positioning. Drives customer focus within the assigned regional sales areas and initiates / contributes to planning of customer related marketing measures or the setup of customer related business events. Support the business units with strategic key customers' and EPCs business development. Manages assigned organizational unit(s) and leads and / or coordinates sales staff initiatives as required by the business units. Qualifications and Experience?
