• Handling all enquiries and quotations for specific valve product.

• Submit of timely and accurate quotations to the agents and clients.

• Support agents and answer all technical & commercial questions. Follow up with technical and sales support to potential contracts. This will require trips for technical presentation, technical & commercial clarification when needed.

• A fundamental knowledge and understanding of the companies’ products, actuators and associated instruments are required. Use the sizing program promptly and accurately.

• To work independently for any given task and taking responsibility for solving problems, clients requirements is essential for the best interests of Weir Power & Industrial.

• It is a requirement to work diligently with a team spirit to maximize the potential order. Working as a team to support other staffs in their work and in the absence of any staff.

• EHS requirement:

  • Comply with any rules specific to a particular site and any Company wide health, safety or environmental requirements.
  • Be aware of EHS hazards and use personal protective equipment supplied in accordance with site risk assessments and site rules.
  • Report any injuries, unsafe acts or conditions to line managers.

Education and/or Experience:

An engineering graduate with mechanical, fluid dynamics, automation, instrumentation

Above 8 years experience in application of similar product;

The position requires a dedicated individual with team spirit and to work as a team member to maximize the order potential for the company.

Experience in valve industry will be advantage.

Strong capable of application design concept

Open minded character, self-motivating ability, able to work self-responsible and under pressure, demanding for success and results, trustful character

Must be motivated to continuously improve skills and to accept new work contents

Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks

Demonstrated skill in problem solving techniques, including team problem solving.

Language Skills:

The requirement for both excellent written and oral English skills is essential.

Computer Skills:

The requirement for Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point skills is essential.
