Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Responsibility for driving the strategic new and further development of the portfolio of Anti-Counterfeiting Features (ACF) for all Bayer Pharmaceuticals products in collaboration with internal Subject Matter Experts and external partners
  • Evaluation of alternative ACF concepts regarding Bayer's commercial and safety business interests
  • Coordination of the packaging supplier qualification for the production of packaging materials with ACF on a production scale as well as definition of standardized specifications for ACF on packaging for the implementing functions
  • Responsibility for packaging inspections in cases of suspected counterfeiting as well as evaluation and assessment according to security-relevant criteria
  • Continuous monitoring of worldwide suspected counterfeiting cases and evaluation of effectiveness and necessity of adjusting the ACF strategy
  • Supporting and advising the Quality function in the implementation of the release process
  • Representation of the Packaging Technology function in internal and external expert networks (such as internal decision teams, industry associations, etc.) on ACF issues
  • Contact person (m/f/d) for packaging suppliers regarding the production of packaging with ACF and release in case of specification deviations
  • Preparation of evaluations and reports

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

  • University degree (master's degree desirable) as an engineer (m/f/d) in printing technology, packaging technology, process engineering or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical, GMP or medical device environment as well as experience in security printing and counterfeit protection
  • Experience in management accounting and preparation of business cases
  • Excellent technical understanding of manufacturing, testing and processing of printed packaging materials as well as conventional and digital printing processes and technology
  • Very good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and SAP
  • Pleasure and experience in working with external interfaces and partners
  • High degree of independent and self-reliant work
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

 

This position is located in Leverkusen or Berlin.
