Location: Remote for First 3 Months, then Hangzhou, China
Full-Time or Internship
Trial Period & Metrics:
The role begins with a 3-month remote trial period, during which you will be required to meet key Customer Development metrics. Upon successful completion, the position will transition to our head office in Hangzhou, China.
Position Overview:
As the Alibaba Front-End Sales Manager, you will manage sales activities on our Alibaba platform, engaging with B2B customers, converting inquiries into sales, and upselling additional products. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily inquiries from Alibaba’s B2B customers and convert them into orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with both potential and existing clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products that we manufacture.
- Identify new business opportunities through platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, industry directories, and e-commerce channels.
- Meet and exceed Customer Development metrics during the 3-month trial period.
- Transition to our Hangzhou office after the trial period.
Key Qualifications:
- A degree (or current studies) in International Trade or E-Commerce, or relevant work experience.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Alibaba, is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual comfortable engaging clients and building strong relationships.
- Ability to prospect for new business through various platforms, including cold outreach.
Comfortable making outbound calls to generate new leads.
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes and supply chain management is a plus.
