Tasks

Manage finished vehicle transportation process from F2/F2.5 (PDA/DDA) to F3 (arrive at dealership), arrange finished

Vehicle dispatching from plant PDAs or DDAs to dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Process planning for direction transportation and final distribution
• Coordination transportation order of BBA finished vehicles to dealership from PDAs/DDAs with contracted suppliers
• Manage finished vehicle loading plan at PDAs and DDAs, coordinate finished vehicle pickup at PDAs and DDAs
• Steer and Monitor finished vehicle transportation status and reporting for performance and actions accordingly
• Coordination of quarterly transportation capacity review with contracted suppliers and ensure sufficient truck/trailer/driver resource and flexibility
• Perform contracted suppliers staffs trainings to ensure BBA FVL operational process integrated to suppliers operations stably and sustainably
• Perform supplier operation observation on-site and action evaluation, ensure suppliers operation according to BMW standards
• Setup "8P" operational standard at contract suppliers regarding supplier qualification enhancement
• Perform integration of 'VPS' management to processes of suppliers, review and evaluate VPS project implementation at suppliers in regarding FVL business process
• Preparation of transportation related document for FVL project tendering, lead of transportation project realization
• Interface of Sales Region pipeline management regarding FVL concept change, training and logistic problems solving
• Dealer training and communication regarding FVL concept change, vehicle tracking and customer service
• Key user of outbound logistics systems and customer service systems, create business
• Proposal regarding IT change, and change request review
• Manage transportation of export vehicles and used cars

Qualifications

• University bachelor degree at least, Master preferred; Major in Logistic preferred.
• Familiar with SAP and vehicle distribution systems
• Familiar with MS Office
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• Problem Solving ability
• Good communication and presentation skill
• Knowledge of logistics especially for outbound logistics
• Knowledge of Sales Planning Ordering process
• Knowledge of project management
• Analytical background, accurate and sensitive with numbers
• Knowledge of production and logistics
• Experience in Logistic area especially finished vehicle logistics
• Experience of automotive industry
