Tasks

To realize HVB Prototype Build and Test with the knowledge of battery assembly processes and technologies, to solve techinical and software issues related with low voltage and high voltage working systems, and to manage the HVB Prototype workshop facilities, toolings and softwares within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assembly manual of each build phases. Know well assembly sequence and all tightening values, be capable of creating program in tightening gun. Train associates with proper qualification for Prototype assembly

Be capable of understanding and carrying out Build Deviation based on R&D request, Be the interface with R&D for topics related with assembly process

Apply for software and flash SME, carry out Leakage and EOL tests, handle with any safety alerts and software errors

Analyse the root cause of faults/problems duiring prototype build and test, and apply methodology to ensure all problem resolution activities are completed in a proactive and systematic approach

Steer, negotiate and influence relevant partners to ensure the preferred operational requirements of products and processes are meet in accordance with all health, safety, environmental and BMW standards on Prototype production

Convert R&D specifications (e.g. QV) into Prototype production and test instructions, and generate corresponding documents

Support for budget planning related with Prototype assembly process

Qualifications

Graduated in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Automotive Engineering or similar qualification background with job experience

Knowledge of assembly process

Knowledge of high volume manufacturing preferably within the automotive industry

Ability to analyse and resolve technical issues using systematic problem resolution techniques

Knowledge of electrical and eletronics

Higly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment, Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilise resources to achieve desired results

Skills with analysing and reporting, with high level of personal commitment and motivation

Skills with project management

Proficient English, German would be an advantage

Ideally experienced in an automotive manufacturing environment 4-6 Years

Experience with product assembly 1-3 Years

Several years experience in systematic analysing and resolving technical issues 4-6 Years
