Activation Manager- Prestige: As it is a key figure in driving excellence in execution as part of the PRC Consumer Connection Model and specifically at the last 3 feet. The Activation teams will be responsible for implementation of brand activations, driving efficiencies, simplifying communication and accelerating decision making between HQ and regions.
The Activation Manager will formulate clear channel strategy and “turnkey” solutions to empower business units to deliver increased speed of execution, entrepreneurship and decision making in the field, bringing our brands closer to consumers thus driving the growth.
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
1. Brand Activation
- Working with Marketing Manager Activation to formulate annual brand channel plan. Ensure consumer and channel insights (prestige ON 80% including Night Club, KTV, International Hotel, OFF20% like TOT) are well implemented, and channel growth opportunities identified.
- Collaborate with the brand communication team on integrated marketing campaigns ensuring all brand activation is fully embedded into Consumer Connection model and campaign idea well amplified across channels.
- Develop brand activation plans for promotions, visibility, consumer engagement activities for the Prestige channel. Deliver creative solutions, embedded digital thinking and initiate channel growth ideas. This will include:
? Clear and comprehensive guidelines and toolkits on how to implement the initiative.
? “Turnkey” solutions that can be rolled out simply and efficiently in the regions without the need for central coordination.
? Closely tracking activations with Regions and ensure promotion on time deliver in Prestige channel with clear KPI setting
- Act as lead point of contact with regional equivalent to ensure seamless roll out of activations, proactive information sharing and agile problem solving.
- Act as brand guardian for implementation of Brand ID across all channels. Manage roll out of new logos, bottles shots, beauty shots etc.
- Where needed, manage POS requirements (design and production) that will then be rolled out in region.
Financial Management:
- Working with the Marketing Manager, roll out agreed channel activation spending strategy across brands, channels and regions. Well manage activation budget.
- Challenge HQ and Region team to spend efficiently & effectively to get the best value from our suppliers & agencies.
Business Leadership:
- Be an expert on focus brands through regular brand, market & competitor updates paying a particular attention to the Consumer Connection model reporting.
- Work closely with the brand team, community manager, consumer connections and insights teams and RTMK to deliver engaging and efficient activations.
- Champion the brand/portfolio within the business, ensuring they get sufficient focus & resource.
- Lead cross functional teams to achieve key business objectives.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years above working experience in marketing, trade marketing, commerce or business management with reputable companies, in alcohol industry will be a plus
- Solid brand and channel management experience in both planning and execution
- Proven strategic, analytical and creative abilities
- Open-minded and passionate; strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Fluent English and Mandarin both in written and spoken
- University graduate with bachelor degree or above
