Job Description
SUMMARY
The Acoustic and Sound Quality Expert works in the SBU ACE Team (Systems Business Unit / ANSYS Customer Excellence). He works in close connection with the ANSYS VRXPERIENCE SOUND French Team. He is responsible for managing acoustic project in relationship with major Chinese and Asian account customers on Sound Quality and Sound Simulation projects using our unique skillset and ANSYS/ GENESIS software. This role includes technical pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process, focusing on Automotive Market. This position implies a 30 to 50% mobility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Acoustic and Sound Quality Expert works in the SBU ACE Team (Systems Business Unit / ANSYS Customer Excellence). He works in close connection with the ANSYS VRXPERIENCE SOUND French Team. He is responsible for managing acoustic project in relationship with major Chinese and Asian account customers on Sound Quality and Sound Simulation projects using our unique skillset and ANSYS/ GENESIS software. This role includes technical pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process, focusing on Automotive Market. This position implies a 30 to 50% mobility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your main responsibility is to manage and realize acoustic projects about
- Sound Design (for customer devices, automotive, powertrain)
- Sound Quality
- Sound Simulation
As part of your role you will:
- Promote the VRXPERIENCE SOUND products inside the projects, on customer sites, online, or by developing Proof of Concepts.
- Ensure the Product Technical training on customers’ site or online
- Do the technical proposal and preliminary quotation.
- Participate to product test and product improvement (road map, feasibility, customers feedback)
- Participate in internal corporate initiatives to further enhance the solution suites, presales/sales enablement and professional growth
- Work with close relations ship this product development team, sales team and customers
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree / Engineer Diploma in Acoustics or Audio Signal Processing
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in acoustics (Automotive NVH, Industry, Consulting, Software company)
- Good knowledge in Psychoacoustics, Sound Quality and Signal Processing (Matlab)
- Fluent English written and spoken, French a bonus.
- Autonomous with recognized Project Management capabilities
- Customer oriented, excellent Interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Musician, Sound Designer, Composer experience
- Engine Sound Enhancement for ICE/EV experience
- Computer Aided Music (CAM) / Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) knowledge (Max-MSP, Nuendo, Pro-tools…)
- Vibro-acoustics and Automotive NVH
- Audio/Electroacoustics/3D Sound
- Statistical Analysis for psychoacoustics
- Electric Motor Noise Simulation
- Acoustics Simulation (CAE, SEA, FEM, BEM.. )
- Software coding (C/C++/DSP)
