Responsibility


The accounting manager works in a Shared Service Centre environment, he/she reports to Finance Shared Service Director. Essential duties and responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following for all the in charge customer companies:


General Ledger & financial reporting:


  • Standardize and optimize the accounting processes
  • Check and post the journals of GL accountants
  • Oversee AP, AR and Fixed Asset, inter company, etc. to make sure all the transactions are complete and correct
  • Communicate with customer companies to resolve the accounting daily issue (for example, urgent payment request, payment litigation etc)
  • Oversee Intercompany reconciliation completion for group reporting
  • Collect B/S account reconciliation files, physically check and sign for responsibility
  • Review the B/S reconciliation and follow up the unreconciled items closely to ensure no risk
  • Review and sign the local financial reports prepared by GL accountant and get the approval from company
  • Monthly/yearly statistic reports to local authorities (tax bureau, finance bureau etc) on time submission and correctness
  • Be the backup of GL accountants if any



Taxes:


  • Standardize and optimize the tax topics
  • Can be kind of tax expert to handle the non-trade foreign currency payment issues by dealing with tax bureaus, be the key interface with tax bureaus
  • Supervise timely & accurately monthly taxes declaration to Tax Bureau, which includes VAT, stamp tax, EIT, property tax etc., complete the withholding tax affairs.
  • Tax report preparation monthly, annual tax filing report, Annual united examination.
  • Management about the tax declaration about the HQ and branches (总分支机构)
  • File and manage the Tax related documents for all customers



Audit:


  • Statutory audit coordination and being main contact with auditors
  • Ensure the annual audit report submission on time and accurately by auditors
  • Annual tax filing data accuracy and timeliness submission to tax bureau



Continuous Improvement:


  • Lead the visual management review activities on routine basis
  • Monthly KPI dashboard preparation follow up & related meeting holding, identified actions follow up
  • Identify the accounting improvement projects and lead/supervise them

Internal Control:


  • Standardize the accounting procedures and put in place, update from time to time
  • Support the internal control campaign, perform the formal testing to ensure the accounting operation compliant with IC rules
  • Follow up the action plans defined during IC campaign and complete on time



Others:


  • Evaluate all GLs’ daily work, supervise their tasks fulfilment (on time completion rate and quality), follow up the issues, and do the annual review to all the team members
  • Resolve the daily accounting issues and problems
  • Supervise the archive of accounting documents (vouchers, financial reports, internal control documents etc)
  • Manage the coordinators (in Beijing, Tianjin) as well as their daily work
  • Coordinate with customer Finance to support some ad-hoc requests in accounting.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.



Note: business trips within China should be expected from time to time.



This position will be in constant relationship with Purchases, Finance (management & controlling) and operational depts. in customers’ companies, and Finance SSC treasury, controlling, internal control functions



Requirement


  • Accounting/Finance degree preferred
  • 8+ years' experience, Strong GL accounting, tax & management skills, reporting & analysis, internal control
  • SAP B1 & Syteline + Standard computer skills;
  • Experience in Excel, Word, and PPT.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Native mandarin speaker
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to work with people in other departments;
  • Possess a sense of urgency and attention to accuracy and detail;
  • Capacity to handle duties as required
  • Customer satisfactory-oriented sense;
  • Capability to work under pressures.
  • Strong management skill for a big team (13-14 people)
  • Initiative and motivation
  • Team spirit
