Job Description
The Account Manager manages the relationship with some of Astera’s major international distributors through daily communication and takes care of their orders, shipments and other needs. They also cooperate well with colleagues both in China and in Germany while being professional, paying attention to detail in their daily work and having a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Process orders from overseas distributors in time and make sure special requirements of each customer are taken care of
• Keep an overview over orders, payments, logistics etc. by filling out databases
• Keep distributors up to date about orders, products, and other developments
• Build a strong and long-term relationship with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Handle customer issues and complaints professionally and timely
• Handle shipments to overseas warehouse and manage the stock levels there
• Keep monthly cost overview of overseas warehouse
• Be an active part of the sales team and support the overall goal of the department by cooperating with the other account managers and other departments as necessary
• Help proofread Chinese marketing material such as catalogs, datasheets, app & website updates
• Prepare and attend exhibitions as required
• Additional tasks and projects within the sales department will be assigned according to competence of the candidate

Qualifications & competence
• University degree
• Experience in B2B account management is an advantage

Preferred Skills :
• Excellent English level in speaking and writing, ability to communicate with international customers and colleagues daily
• Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Fluency in a second foreign language is an advantage

Soft Skills Required :
• Work responsibly and with attention to detail
• Report problems timely and try to solve them efficiently
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently after an on-boarding process
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
