Introduction to Huizhou University:

Huizhou University is located in Huizhou, a national civilized city, a famous cultural city and an important node city of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a provincial full-time public undergraduate university, a pilot university of undergraduate transformation, a provincial and municipal joint undergraduate university and a provincial master's degree granting project construction unit. It is the second batch of Provincial Demonstration Base for Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the National Teachers' Education Innovation Experimental Zone approved by the Provincial government, the third batch of the provincial excellent Chinese traditional culture inheritance base for universities, the provincial experimental unit for the construction of the system and mechanism of "Three Wholeness Education" in universities, and the provincial ideological and political demonstration university for curriculum.

Project Introduction:

The Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars (Overseas) aims to attract and encourage overseas outstanding young scholars (including non-Chinese foreign talents) who have achieved good results in natural science and engineering technology to work in China. Independently choose research directions to carry out innovative research, promote the rapid growth of young scientific and technological talents, cultivate a group of outstanding academic backbones who are expected to enter the forefront of world science and technology, and contribute to the construction of a scientific and technological power.

Application Condition:

(Applicants for the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (overseas) should meet the following requirements)
* Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, have good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era.
* Date of birth after 1 January 1983 (inclusive).
* Obtained a doctorate degree.
* His/Her research interests include natural sciences, engineering and technology.
* Before March 15, 2023, after receiving a doctoral degree, you should generally obtain a formal teaching or research position in overseas universities, scientific research institutions, and enterprise R & D institutions, and have more than 36 consecutive months of work experience;
* Those who have obtained a doctorate degree overseas and have outstanding achievements may appropriately relax the requirements for working years.
* Obtain scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peer experts, and have the development potential to become academic leaders or outstanding talents in the field.
* The applicant has not already returned to China to work full-time or returned to China to work after January 1, 2022.
* After receiving the subsidy notice, you must resign from overseas work or have no job overseas, and return to China to work full-time (in China) for at least 3 years.

Limited Requirements:

Implement the requirements of the relevant central departments on the overall integration of the national plan for scientific and technological personnel. The National Talent Program at the same level can only apply for or undertake one, you cannot apply for reverse.

Benefits Package:

* National Natural Science Foundation of China Research Grant Budget: 1 million - 3 million, duration 3-years.
* Guangdong Province will subsidize 750,000RMB living allowance, and Huizhou City will provide 1: 1 state subsidy.
* The University will provide an annual salary of 800,000RMB pre-tax, housing subsidy of 1.2 million RMB,
* Relocation allowance of 400,000RMB.
* The university will also provide start-up funds for scientific research according to the discipline basis and actual needs, and help to build an innovative research team.
* Provide assistance to help with spousal and child visa, and assist with children's admission to local school.
