Background:

• Prefer overseas graduates in US or UK on Fine Arts or Design related subjects, including architecture training.
• Enjoy working with softhome products and supervise China base merchant teams and HK base product developers.

Requirements:

• Possess strong sense of product interpretation from overseas briefs and on line global market trends. He/She able to develop ideas to create business on every day soft furnishing.
• Candidate is expected to have frequent travel and attend trade fair and factory / mill visit to capture the latest market availability to come up with unique product proposition.
• Able to manage cost, quality and delivery expectation as well as develop a sound vendor matrix.
• Excellent salesmanship and fluency in English written and spoken.
• Proven experience in product development in same field or textile / apparel field, at least 3 full years.
• Strong team management skills including oversee budgeting.
• The candidate can work with off station design help on top of manage on shore merchants.
