Job Purpose: The purpose of the job is to design, develop and deliver enterprise applications in Finance and Risk Technology primarily using best in class software engineering practices with help of relevant technologies and tools like Abinitio, Hadoop, Sqoop , Talend , Oracle

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the development teams and aligning them to the global teams
• Responsible for end-to-end delivery including understanding requirements, design, development, testing, release
• Design, document and develop batch and real time integration solutions based on functional requirements and integration requirements using Abinition, Talend/Spark, Sqoop,Oracle , UNIX
• Help develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing and support System testing
• Have complete understanding of application code through code compilation, code walkthrough, execution flow, overall design, local compilation, deployment and behaviour/Unit testing.

Participate in all project planning, progress & development meetings with the team & global managers

Required Skills:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years’ development experience in application design & development in following technologies:
  • Oracle
  • Abinitio
  • Talend
  • RDBMS
  • Unix
  • Hadoop and Sqoop
• Strong understanding of build and release tools and technologies
• Preferably experience with reporting tool like Microstrategy.
• Experience of Financial concepts and functions (Journals, Revaluations, reclass, suspense etc.).
• Domain knowledge in Accounting is preferred
• Good coding discipline
• Good written & verbal communication skills
