THE JOB
Reporting to the Head Wushu Coach, the Assistant Wushu Coach will be responsible for the following duties:
- To coordinate, design and implement training programmes for wushu elite athletes in Hong Kong especially Taiji Group;
- To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
- To assistant with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions;
- To assist the HKSI and Hong Kong Wushu Union in implementing programmes related to talent identification, coach education and athlete promotion programmes; and
- To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
- Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by relevant governing body;
- A minimum of 2 years’ professional coaching experience in WUSHU;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- High level of computer literacy; and
- Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues and Prevention of Bribery Ordinance in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責
助理武術教練須向武術總教練匯報工作情況,其職責詳列如下:
- 負責籌劃、設計及執行香港武術運動員訓練計劃,主力為太極組;
- 在進行精英訓練計劃時,善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務,以加強訓練成果;
- 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時,須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作;及
- 協助體育學院及香港武術聯會的運動員選材、教練培訓及運動員推廣武術工作。
申請資格
大學學位或大專證書/文憑,或同等學歷;
- 具備最少兩年武術專業教練經驗;
- 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係;
- 熟悉電腦操作;及
- 認識香港保護兒童、平等機會政策及防止賄賂條例為佳。
