THE JOB

Reporting to the Head Wushu Coach, the Assistant Wushu Coach will be responsible for the following duties:

• To coordinate, design and implement training programmes for wushu elite athletes in Hong Kong especially Taiji Group;
• To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
• To assistant with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions;
• To assist the HKSI and Hong Kong Wushu Union in implementing programmes related to talent identification, coach education and athlete promotion programmes; and
• To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
• Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by relevant governing body;
• A minimum of 2 years’ professional coaching experience in WUSHU;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• High level of computer literacy; and
• Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues and Prevention of Bribery Ordinance in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責

助理武術教練須向武術總教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：

• 負責籌劃、設計及執行香港武術運動員訓練計劃，主力為太極組；
• 在進行精英訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
• 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；及
• 協助體育學院及香港武術聯會的運動員選材、教練培訓及運動員推廣武術工作。

申請資格

• 大學學位或大專證書/文憑，或同等學歷；

•  

  持有由相關管理機構頒發的教練証書資歷；
• 具備最少兩年武術專業教練經驗；
• 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
• 熟悉電腦操作；及
• 認識香港保護兒童、平等機會政策及防止賄賂條例為佳。
