Job Description
My company is currently seeking highly qualified individuals with experience in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to join our team as APEC Researchers. This is a freelance position with the opportunity to contribute to high-level research projects related to APEC's initiatives and policies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research on APEC-related topics, including economic policies, regional cooperation, and trade agreements.
Analyze data and information to produce insightful reports and recommendations.
Attend APEC meetings and conferences, either virtually or in-person, as required.
Collaborate with a team of researchers and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive research papers and policy briefs.
Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to the strategic planning process.
Requirements:
Prior experience attending or organizing APEC meetings or conferences.
Proven research capabilities with a deep understanding of APEC's goals and initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
A relevant degree in economics, international relations, political science, or a related field.
Flexibility to work in a remote environment and adapt to varying time zones and deadlines.
Proficiency in additional APEC member economies' languages is a plus.
Compensation:
Researchers will be compensated on a per-project or per-research task basis, with competitive rates based on the scope and complexity of the work.
